UrgoClean is a new generation of hydro-desloughing fibres dressing with a high capacity to absorb, drain and trap slough residues.

The UrgoClean range is designed for sloughy wounds.

Its composition includes a new generation of hydro-desloughing fibres with a high capacity to absorb exudate, drain and trap sloughy residues, combined with a soft-adherent TLC (technology lipido colloid) layer at the wound/dressing interface.

Combining the gelling capacity of TLC with the trapping and draining capacities of the hydro-desloughing fibres of the Pad, UrgoClean is a dressing that enables the user to manage exuding or sloughy wounds.

How to Use

UrgoClean can be cut using sterile scissors to adjust the size of the dressing to the wound if necessaryApply the soft-adherent side of UrgoClean to the wound and its contours

UrgoClean has the ability to be left in place for up to 7 days, however during the early desloughing phase it may warrant more frequent dressing changes but this should be based on the clinical assessment. Discard any unused parts of the dressing according to local procedures.

Indications

UrgoClean is indicated for sloughy wounds (leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic, acute or chronic wounds). For desloughing UrgoClean should be changed every 1-2 days. UrgoClean can be left in place for up to 7 days depending on exudate level and clinical condition of the wound
