Product Description

Prontosan gels contain 2 active ingredients, an antimicrobial polyhexanide (polyhexamethylene biguanide [PHMB]), and a betaine surfactant (undecylenamidopropyl betaine). It is indicated for cleansing, rinsing and moistening acute and chronic wounds and to prevent and remove biofilms.Prontosan solution can be used for irrigation, or applied to gauze as a soak. The gels are applied to the wound bed during dressing changes after cleansing.

Safety Warning

For external use only. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Consult a healthcare professional if the wound shows signs of infection or fails to heal. Keep out of reach of children.
