MediHoney Tulle Dressing is an antibacterial medical-grade manuka honey infused non-adherent wound contact dressing. It is intended for the treatment of acute and chronic wounds such as leg/foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, sloughy wounds, necrotic wounds, infected wounds, malodorous wounds, donor and recipient graft sites, burns, diabetic wounds, and surgical wounds. Medihoney is a cutting-edge wound dressing which promotes necrotic tissue elimination and accelerates lesion healing.

Medihoney Antibacterial Honey Tulle Dressing protects the wound by creating a barrier against wound pathogens, including antibiotic resistant strains, and therefore reducing the risk of infection.

The osmotic action produces an outflow of body fluid which assists the removal of wound bacteria, endotoxins, debris and slough, providing a cleaner wound, rapidly removing malodour and helping to reduce the inflammatory response, oedema and exudate levels. Granulation and epithelialisation are enhanced through provision of the optimal healing environment.
