With the new design we introduce a perforated, soft silicone adhesive wound contact layer, which delivers a secure fit without compromising superior absorption. Biatain Silicone and Biatain Silicone Lite are foam dressings that can be used on a wide range of exuding wounds.

Biatain silicone Lite is a ultra flexible, thin and polyurethane foam dressing with a semi-permeable, bacteria-and waterproof top film and a soft silicone adhesive layer. Silicone Lite conforms closely to the wound bed for superior absorbtion. Fluid is locked in within the structures due to it’s 3D foam structure whilst still locking in moisture for wound healing conditions.

The dressing ensures minimal pain upon removal and has a secure fit to keep the dressing in place.

This design ensures a close fit to the wound and body. The product is comfortable to wear due to its thin foam pad and is suited for users that need increased mobility.
The foam dressing can be used for a wide range of non-to-low exuding chronic and acute wounds such as:
