Medipore +Pad 10cm x 10cm Adhesive Wound Dressing (Pack of 25) The dressing is made of a porous, breathable soft cloth material with a central, low-adherent absorbent pad. The pad absorbs wound exudate, yet resists sticking to the wound surface, allowing easy removal of the dressing. The dressing’s soft stretchable backing conforms well to body contours. The corners are rounded to help prevent edge roll and wrinkling. The hypoallergenic adhesive is strong yet easy to remove. Enhances patient comfort – Soft, porous and breathable. Unique, non-adherent pad won`t stick to the wound, thus minimizing disruption of the healing tissues upon removal. Helps support healing – Absorbent pad protects wound and absorbs drainage, while allowing skin to breathe, thus reducing the potential for maceration around the wound edges. Helps reduce the risk of skin maceration. Gentle to the skin – Dressing provides excellent adhesion, yet is gentle to the skin. Contains no natural rubber latex. Conformable – Conforms to body contours.

Directions

•  Open package and remove 3M Medipore +Pad Soft Cloth Adhesive Wound Dressing.
•  Peel the paper liner from the dressing, exposing the adhesive surface.
•  Position the dressing over the wound site or the catheter insertion site and apply dressing.
•  Smooth down the dressing edges. Seal securely around catheter or wound site. Firmly smooth adhesive border to the skin.
•  When exudate penetrate through the soft cloth backing, change the dressing.
•  To remove 3M Medipore Pad, gently grasp the edge and slowly peel the dressing from the skin in the direction of hair growth.
